Claudia Scott (NO/US)

Claudia ScottClaudia Scott was born in Newcastle, England by a Norwegian mother and British father. The family lived in London for 6 years with her brother and sister, before moving to Norway.

After moving to Oslo to go to college, she was, due to playing in her dad's band, asked to record an album with two well-established recording artists, country artist Ottar Johansen and rocker Casino Steel. The three formed a trio, and in less than three years released 3 albums, did numerous TV and radio performances and was awarded a Grammy (Spellemann) for their album "Oh Yeah," in addition to a Grammy nomination.

In 1986 Claudia participated in a project called CCCP, with Casino Steel, Carlene Carter and John Payne. Although their album received a silver disc, musically this was not a project any one of them wished to pursue, and left it at that. However, Claudia and Steel continued their collaboration, toured Norway, and also recorded an album they called "Scott & Steel." In 1988 Claudia moved to Los Angeles, but waited almost 4 years before recording her first solo-album with co-producer Harald Wiik in 1992.

After three critically acclaimed albums in the -90's, Claudia Scott summed up her solo career with the album Collection, released in 2005. Her 4th album "John Clare's Dream" is to be released on the 18th September, and the title track, a tribute to the English 19th century poet John Clare, is co-written with artist and poet Shaun Belcher. Claudia has chosen a more acoustic approach for this album, playing acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Her long time collaborator and producer Erik Honoré, and band mates Tom Rudi Torjussen, percussion and Jørn Raknes, guitar and steel-guitar give a refined accompaniment to Scott's soulful songs.

ZZ Rock (SE)

ZZ RockBack in 1970 ZZ Top set the standards for how to play that Texas Rock'n'Roll, and gave us classic songs like "La Grange", "Tush", "Jesus Just Left Chicago", "Fool for Your Stockings" and the radio/MTV megahits "Gimme All Your Lovin" and "Sharp Dressed Man".

As fulltime musicians, the guys in ZZ Rock have performed hundreds of times all over Scandinavia, and they know what it takes to satisfy an audience. To watch a performance with ZZ Rock is almost spooky. The beards, the moves, and last, but not least, the music is nearby impossible to part from the original.

Southern Tribute (NO)

Southern TributeThis tribute band from Norway can musically be described as a mixture of blues, country and hard rockin', which, of course, also is a pretty good recepy for southern rock.

The members of the band all have a long time experience from other bands and projects, and from very different categories such as folk-rock, heavy, pop and prog. Now they've joined forces to do some serious rock'n'roll...

That norwegian culture is influenced by the american way of life is nothing new. Southern Tribute is a celebration of one of the better things americans have brought upon us, namely Southern Rock! And with names such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet and ZZ Top on their setlist, you're in for a treat. Real music, pure fun and energy makes Southern Tribute a welcoming guest on any stage. Forget any kind of plastic crap. This is the real deal: Southern rebel kick ass rock'n'roll
